Child & Adult
Evaluations & Testing Services
ALPINE BEHAVIOR THERAPY CLINIC provides a broad
spectrum of clinical evaluations of assessment / testing
services to meet the specialized needs of children and adults
in their specific life situations. These various protocols
include:
PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL TESTING encompasses a battery of tests
designed to measure the intelligence, achievement levels
and the specific learning style of an individual. These
tests may be used to assist in arriving at a clinical diagnosis
and in ruling in / out the possibility of learning deficiencies,
learning challenges or disabilities, giftedness and attention
related problems.
ADD/ADHD TESTING encompasses examining, through self and collateral resources
and the use of reliable, standardized rating scales, the degree to which,
if any, an individual evidences attention related problems as well as the
specific academic, social or psychological impacts these issues may pose.
PERSONALITY TESTING encompasses the
assessment of personality trends and traits through the use
of reliable standardized
measurements in conjunction with interviews and collateral
rating scales, where warranted, designed to identify
the personality profile and critical factors that contribute
to clinical diagnosis and a better understanding of personality
tendencies and behavioral trends. These assessments are
a useful measure for those individuals who are seeking
a court-ordered evaluation, personal clarification of
career
goals, and/or who are pursuing additional information
regarding diagnosis, personality, and/or behavioral risk
tendencies.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL
EVALUATION encompasses the thorough interview
and assessment of an individual who is clinically referred,
personally interested or court-ordered to attain this type
of assessment. Standardized measurements, personal and
collateral interviews are relied upon to clarify emotional,
social, behavioral and psychological propensity for use
or abuse of alcohol use and recreational drugs. |
